Hydra & Dokos
In this episode, Peter continues exploring the island of Hydra and takes part in its biggest celebration, The Miaoulia Festival. This annual event illustrates the island’s proud heritage which culminates in a dramatic re-enactment of the sinking of the Ottoman Empire flagship. He also visits the deserted island of Dokos to find the remains of a German plane that crashed during World War II.
